The Bloomington Alpha Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. awarded $17,500 in grants in May 2019.

  • Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), $2,000

  • Area Ten Agency on Aging, $2,000

  • Boys & Girls Club of Monroe County, $2,000

  • New Hope for Families, $3,000

  • Stages Bloomington, $3,500

  • Hoosier Hills Career Center’s Future Farmer of America (FFA), $5,000


2018 Grant Recipients

The Bloomington Alpha Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. awarded $13,500 in grants and scholarships in May 2018. Click here to read our press release.

  • Arlington Heights Elementary School, $1,780 for STEM materials and a field trip to the LINK Observatory

  • Cardinal Stage Co., $720 for 120 subsidized “Robin Hood” tickets for Monroe County School Corp. students

  • Girls Inc. of Monroe County, $3,000 for bus repairs and transportation costs

  • Monroe County United Ministries, $2,500 for the Child Care Development Fund

  • Teachers Warehouse, $2,500 for the High School Initiative. 

  • Three $1000 scholarships to local students

Team First Book receives $1000 grant

Tri Kappa officers present Team First Book of Monroe County Co-Chair, Patty Callison, with a check for $1000 in honor of this year’s sisterhood award. The 2018 winner, Mary Jane Hall, selected the organization to receive the funds that will provide books to low-income children in Monroe County.
